TRANSFORMER TRAINER AND TESTING
General Description.
This distribution transformer trainer experiment apparatus is designed for the student to perform a wide range of electrical system and features of transformer. This apparatus allows the student to understand more on the single phase transformer, three phase transformer and distribution on transformer. It is a stand-alone unit which consists of a main frame, control panel, table top, relevant accessories mounted on lockable castors. The main frame is made by an epoxy coated steel structure with all components mounted within.

· Finding transformer equivalent circuit.
· Study of transformer regulation.
· Measurement of winding temperature.
· Effect of type of load on transformer output waveform.
· Connection of wye-wye, delta-delta, closed wye-delta, open wye-delta and others.
· Distribution on motors and lamps as a load.

· Study on motors and lamps as load test and correspondingly determine the efficiency and voltage regulation.
