DESCRIPTION

This training unit features a genuine Proton automotive Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) mounted on a heavy-duty moveable stand, designed specifically for practical student instruction, overhaul procedures, and classroom demonstration. The system provides students with hands-on experience in understanding Proton CVT operating principles, primary and secondary pulley mechanics, steel push-belt drive mechanisms, hydraulic control valve bodies, and wet clutch assemblies.

This unit comes complete with a dedicated set of Special Service Tools (SST) designed specifically for Proton CVT servicing to facilitate proper assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and overhaul training in accordance with OEM manufacturer standards.

Trainer enables demonstrations and practical tasks on:

• Fundamental operating principles of Proton Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

• Identification, layout, and function of internal Proton CVT components (Primary/Secondary Pulleys, Steel Push-Belt, Wet Multi-Plate Starter Clutch / Torque Converter assembly, Valve Body, and Solenoid Pack).

• Hands-on disassembly, inspection, and reassembly training using dedicated Special Service Tools (SST).

• Pulley holding/alignment, belt tension/inspection, oil seal replacement, and bearing removal/installation procedures.

• Hydraulic control unit (Valve Body) and step-motor / solenoid valve inspection.

• Input and output shaft rotation, gear ratio variation, and mechanical power flow demonstration.

  • Original Proton Automotive CVT Transmission Assembly (e.g., Punch VT3 / VT2 or Jatco CVT series, fully operational for overhaul training OR precision sectioned / cut-away model for internal mechanism visibility).

  • Heavy-duty steel frame construction with industrial powder-coated finish.

  • Ergonomically mounted at a comfortable working height for practical overhaul activities.

  • Heavy-duty lockable swivel castors for ease of mobility and stability in workshop environments.

  • Integrated stainless steel drip tray / fluid catch pan with drain plug at the base to retain fluid residue during disassembly.
