DESCRIPTION

This trainer provides the instructor with a complete working engine with an engine management system for group or whole-class demonstration. It is mounted on a moveable, heavy-duty, steel frame. The system comprises all the elements that control the air-fuel ratio, the ignition timing, and the exhaust emissions together with the ECU and all the sensors and actuators associated with the control system.

The system enables fault conditions to be inserted and for these faults to be diagnosed with specialist workshop test equipment. This resource is supplied with manuals containing practical tasks and activities. The trainer can also be used in conjunction with our optional cloud-based software, which offers online interactive theory presentations, investigations, and assessments, which support the practical activities, carried out using this resource.
